Honey-Soy Ostrich Fillet Steaks

Looking for a alternative & delicious way to flavour your Ostrich Fillet Steaks? We strongly recommend giving our Asian-Inspired marinade & drizzle sauce a try to get an incredible crisp & sweet flavour on your tender Ostrich Steaks.
  • 2 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tsp of light soy
  • 10 g of grated ginger
  • 10g of chillies finely chopped without seeds
  • 5g of lime zest
  • 5g of lime juice
  • 1 clove of garlic finely chopped


Mix all ingredients in a bowl and add whole steak and allow to marinade overnight.

Separate Steaks from the marinade the next day and cook to your liking on a high heat (e.g Medium-Rare).

As you fry the Ostrich Fillet Steaks Gradually pour the Marinade on top to keep the Steaks extra Tender.

Mix in a bowl and add whole steak allow to marinade. Seer steaks in a pan and poor marinade into the pan then pore on top of steak
