Our latest product launch gives us the opportunity to provide a full day of healthy, tasty and convenient nutrition, even on the go – please welcome Blueberry Blast Overnight Oats to the roster!

GSN’s in-house experts have worked closely with local Yorkshire farmers to develop our unique take on this breakfast titan!

Built around Kefir (more on this below), our Overnight Oats deliver 26.2g of protein and 4.3g of fibre, with only 338 calories. This is backed up by 13 different strains of live cultures which are incredibly supportive of digestive health and aids your immune system. Kefir is also high in vitamin B12!

To the Kefir, we mix rolled wholegrain oats and blueberry compote.

Oats have a longstanding, historical connection to breakfast, for a good reason… They’re jam-packed with minerals and antioxidant plant compounds. 74 grams of dry oats contains:

  • Manganese: 63.91% of the daily value (DV)
  • Phosphorus: 13.3% of the DV
  • Magnesium: 13.3% of the DV
  • Copper: 17.6% of the DV
  • Iron: 9.4% of the DV
  • Zinc: 13.4% of the DV
  • Folate: 3.24% of the DV
  • Vitamin B1 (thiamine): 15.5% of the DV
  • Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid): 9.07% of the DV
  • smaller amounts of calcium, potassium, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), and vitamin B3 (niacin)

Our blueberry compote is of course made with real fruit, and plenty of it. Often labelled a superfood, blueberries are low in calories and incredibly good for you.

Blueberries are among the most nutrient-dense berries. A 74g serving of blueberries contains:

  • Fibre: 2 grams
  • Vitamin C: 12% of the RDI
  • Vitamin K: 18% of the RDI
  • Manganese: 13% of the RDI
  • Small amounts of various other nutrients

They are also about 85% water, 74g of blueberries contains only 82 calories, with 7.5 grams of carbohydrates.

Calorie for calorie, this makes them an excellent source of several important nutrients.

Although complete, our Overnight Oats also make a great base for a bigger breakfast, load them up with seeds, grains, fruit or nuts or even pour over granola if you have the urge for a little more.
