Craig Allen, GSN founder, director and back on the M6.
For those not in the know, GSN was born out of Craig’s dedication to driving up and down the M6 (before the absurd Toll Road even existed) and delivering our Steam Cooked Chicken Breasts to stockists. You can read more on that, here.
Twelve years on, an eight-strong GSN team is back on the M6 heading to the country’s largest sports festival to launch a natural evolution of the brand.
In 2023 we started our catering journey at Battle For Middle Ground (Leeds), Yorkshire Games Beach Throw Down (Bridlington) and Rep It Out (Sheffield). Athletes across the North appreciated and benefitted from our offering. Each of these posed differing logistical problems to tackle and was far from the ‘Easy’ our ethos embraces. We began solving them – eventually concluding that a dedicated vehicle was needed – the yet unnamed GSN Food Truck was born.
Fast track to February 2024 and the opportunity to nourish crowds, athletes and traders at The Arnolds Sports Festival is teased.
Challenge accepted. Food Truck completed. Team on the road.
Consumers at The Arnolds are amongst the most demanding we could feed – macro-aware, performance-aligned and short on time. From competing CrossFit athletes to hungry traders, active IFBB Pros and former Olympia winners and of course, members of the general public.
All comers approved our Breaded Chicken Katsu Curry, Oriental Sweet and Sour Chicken, often bundled with the peerless Canowater and our new collaborative event-special Protein Donuts.
We’d especially like to thank all of our athletes and ambassadors who took the time to visit our stand, engage with customers and even muck in serving from the hatch – TeamGSN grows from the commitment and belief that tasty, healthy food should be easy. A philosophy that we all share.
Alongside the Food Truck, we also provided food for the staff and judges of Graft Events who all pulled exceptionally long hours to deliver a mammoth CrossFit competition. We had a dedicated freezer backstage for Youngla’s team and ambassadors and delivered orders site-wide to traders such as The Defiant Co, UGD Apparel, More Formula, and Gaspari.
The Food Truck gives us an all-in-one platform to not only feed but educate, and we’ll be on the road regularly – delivering taste bud-tingling food of the highest quality around the U.K.

It goes without saying, but we’re gonna say it anyway – it was a privilege to be in the room with Arnold Schwarzenegger himself as he took on a morning session with seven-time Mr Olympia Phil Heath on the Panatta installation.
